Brighton Law Firm’s corporate client has been in a very troublesome situation recently. A corporate client of ours was threatened with a law suit under the NJ Whistle Blower law upon firing the employee for good cause. The opposing attorney aggressively argued that the employee has been fired for threatening to blow the whistle on our client’s activities. After further investigation, we determined that our client did nothing wrong and the employee was terminated appropriately. Our attorneys aggressively defended our client and threatened to go after the attorney of the terminated employee for filing frivolous litigation under the NJ Frivolous Ligation Law. Our attorneys were successful in getting them to drop the case altogether.
